123-reg web/domain forwarding

Good news! It seems that web/domain forwarding in the 123-reg control panel sets up a 302 redirect, which search engines like!

I emailed 123-reg asking what the redirect was. Well, I’d checked before I emailed and it was 301. But their email responce this morning said they only did 302 redirects and sure enough, I checked my forwarding this morning and it’s a now a 302, hurrah!

(I checked using a ‘headers’ check on the extremely useful network-tools.com

Thanks 123-reg, now yet another reason to use them!
